Amblin has closed a preemptive deal to acquire feature film rights for the highly anticipated novel Assassins Anonymous by Rob Hart, which will be published in 2024.

Judd Apatow has attached to direct and Steven Spielberg has come aboard to produce Cola Wars, the film in development at Sony. Spielberg will produce through his Amblin Entertainment banner.

“The Goonies” are officially back...Steven Spielberg, Kristie Macosko Krieger and Holly Bario will produce for Amblin Entertainment alongside Chris Columbus, who wrote the original “Goonies” script.
